“ Woodstock Cafe is a gem in the heart of downtown Woodstock. This cozy cafe and restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner—plus a delicious brunch on Sundays. I first visited years ago for dinner and recently stopped by for lunch. The experience? Just as impressive as I remembered. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who keep their cool even during the busy lunch rush. If you haven’t checked it out yet, now’s the time! Try one of their signature sandwiches or a classic panini. Coffee lover? You’ll find plenty of options to satisfy your caffeine cravings. And if you’re in the mood to browse, their wine selection is worth a look—there’s no shortage of great choices. Support this fantastic local spot—you’ll be glad you did. ”
“ Beautiful, rustic atmosphere. It is surprisingly large inside with plenty of seating. They serve breakfast, then lunch until 4pm then host special menu dinners by reservation only. There is a plentiful selection of wines, and they have beer on tap. Very friendly staff and owner. You can park on the street in front or in the beautifully bricked parking lot in the back. They offer outdoor seating in the front and back. The Greek salad had a delicious balsamic dressing. I just wish it had more calamari olives for the 10 price. Very accessible. A local favorite! ”
“ Whether you are looking for breakfast, a quick lunch or a lovely dinner- this cafe is the one. Their coffee is locally sourced and fabulous- their pasta is handmade... their Parker house rolls are to die for. They always keep the menu fun and exciting and switch it up- which I love because it’s fresh and creative. Please remember that any place of service (especially food) with a line just means that there’s something enjoyable to be had and more than a few people know it. I’d rather stand in line for a few moments and have an incredible coffee, meal, or snack than to walk up to a counter and leave disappointed with my money spent. They are doing it right over there & you won’t be disappointed. ”
“ Excellent food quality. Prepared my ribeye exactly medium as requested. The Ramps Butter was a beautiful garnish and added unique flavor. The Pave Potatoes were amazing. Had never had them prepared that way. The Brussels Salad was unique and delicious. Homemade yeast rolls baked and served in an iron skillet. Wonderful meal! The owner came by to be sure we enjoyed everything. We did!! Will go again despite an hour drive each way. ”
“ Woodstock Cafe is a Shenandoah Valley treasure! AMAZING food, friendly service, and a great wine selection. The Cafe’s consistently high quality food and welcoming environment have led to a dedicated following among locals and visitors. It is an absolute MUST for anyone visiting the Shenandoah Valley. ”
“ We came for dinner on a Thursday night; and loved it so much, we made a reservation for the next night while we were still there! Everyone was so friendly and inviting, and the ribeye was the best ribeye I’ve ever had! Better than the ones I’ve had in Texas, Oklahoma, and the Dakotas! You know, steak country! Look at the layers in those pave potatoes! Incredible! ”
“ Read the good reviews and decided to give it a try! Drove down from Winchester. The food was phenomenal! Well worth the drive. My eggs were cooked perfectly, which, unfortunately, is hard for most most cooks. Cool, little place where most folks know one another. Definitely will be back! ”
“ Been patronizing for several years now; and stunned to see Nicky and hubby Chef Jose continue to raise the bar on their weekend dinner offerings. Warm welcoming service, with super healthy yet decadent vegetarian starters, and hearty seafood and meat entrees! ”
